Mother furious over a note composed by the nursery on her baby’s stomach

A mother was left raging after her baby boy’s nursery composed a note on his stomach in the permanent market after she neglected to get nappies.

The American single mother-of-two took to Facebook to vent about the circumstance, as she asked other social media users whether she was right to be furious or not.

Mum Heather said she went to change her kid Milo’s nappy in the wake of a difficult day at work. But, she was stunned to see a message scribbled in lasting permanent market directly across his stomach.

The message said: ‘Mom I’m out of diapers pls read my report.’

Shocked, Heather composed a note on Facebook: “So… I need opinions. Am I right to be furious about this? Or am I overreacting? I really need your opinions guys, because I’m about to barge in this daycare tomorrow morning and have some words.”

She further added: Everyday, when I pick Fin and Milo up from daycare they put a daily report paper in Milo’s lunch box. It says what mood he was in for the day, what times they changed his diapers, and if he needs diapers or wipes. I guess yesterday they wrote on his report that he needs diapers, and I failed to see that.”

Heather said she sees a significant number of the nursery educators when she drops Milo off and would have quite recently favored one of them to reveal to tell her that he needed diapers.

The mother continued: “But instead, I change his diaper this afternoon AND SEE THIS WRITTEN ON MY SON WITH MARKER. I’ve scrubbed it with several baby wipes and it’s not coming off. I had plans to take them to the beach to play, and now I can’t because my son has writing all over him. I’m a single mum with a full time job and two very young children. SUE ME FOR NOT READING THE REPORT EVERY SINGLE DAY.”

Heather even said that this isn’t the first run through the nursery had done this, saying: “They’ve done this several months ago too.”

Finding out if her annoyance is justifiable to different guardians and social media users, Heather probed: “Help. Am I over-exaggerating? Give it to me straight people.”

Her post went viral on Facebook with more than 13,000 responses, 21,000 shares, and 267 remarks – with the majority astonished over the circumstance.
