The Japanese scientist found that four proteins, presently known as Yamanaka factors, could be added to a cell that would help reinvent it into its stem cell state.

Altos Labs is likewise said to have brought Dr. Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte, who is a Spanish researcher from California’s Salk Institute. He utilized Dr. Yamanaka’s research in 2016 on mice and successfully experimented with reverse aging on the animals.

The team had been successful in slowing aging in a mouse using the gene editing technique

After the positive tests were finished, the Spanish scientist accepted they were working with a potential ‘elixir of life.
