A 13 years old boy was duct-taped by airline staff when tried to kick a window out of the plane

A video recording on-board a plane seems to show an airline steward utilizing duct tape to keep a 13-year-old kid in his seat after he supposedly endeavored to kick the window out.

The episode occurred on Tuesday, August 10, about an hour into an American Airlines flight that was going from the Hawaiian island of Maui to Los Angeles.

Observers on the plane revealed the 13-year-old, who was with his mom, endeavored to kick out the window close to his seat and became physical with his own mom before others stepped in to assist with controlling him.

The captured video was shared by CBSN Los Angeles shows two travelers appearing to be standing over a seat, apparently with an end goal to keep the kid in place. In the meantime, a male airline steward could be seen using duct tape, apparently utilizing it to control the teen.

The plane, which left Maui at 12:30 pm local time, was initially booked to land in Los Angeles five hours after the fact, but, the unsettling influence on board implied the flight had to be diverted from Los Angeles to Honolulu.

When the flight landed, the 13-year-old was arrested. CBSN Los Angeles reports that nobody was harmed during the occasions.

An American Airlines representative referred to by Business Insider said passengers on the disturbed flight were re-obliged on different flights or gave hotel accommodation.

They added: ‘Safety and security is our top priority and we apologize to our customers for any inconvenience this caused.’
